IMPHAL, September 30: As observed in other parts of the state, the Celebration Committee Meeyamgi Luchingba Irawat, Wangjing Tentha Kendra’’ also observed the 117th Birth Anniversary of Jana Neta Irawat today with a simple function held at the Wangjing Hodamba Maning Community Hall in Thoubal district.
The function started with offering of floral tributes at a photo of Irawat which was attended by huge number of elderly persons as presidium members.
Speaking on the occasion, Wangjing Tentha MLA Paonam Brojen stated that Irawat was a man of well-discipline and perseverance who had always wanted to do good things for the society adding that the contributions made by the great leader towards the society and state is countless.
He then appealed to all to follow the footsteps of Irawat to bring in peace, harmony and development in the state.
