LAMKA, Sept 4: Atleast two persons were killed and several were left injured when the Saktiman truck they were coming met with an accident near the S Kholian village/Singmun Lamkhai in Churachanpur district at around 7 am yesterday.
The deceased have been identified as Paukholet (80), son of (L) Zilkhopau of Nahjang , Henglep Sub Division and Veinem (60), wife of Paulet of Nahjang ,Henglep Sub Division in Churachandpur.
The truck which was loaded with wooden planks was also carrying a few passengers and was coming from Henglep village towards Lamka town when it met with the accident. Among the injured, two are said to be in a serious condition till the filling of this report.
