    IMPHAL, October 31: Members of the political team that visited Moreh in connection with the border dispute will urge the Central Election Manifesto Committee to accommodate their input on the welfare of the state in the preparation of the party manifesto, said Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam while addressing a press conference at his chamber at Congress Bhavan.

    The MPCC president continued that three points will be forwarded for inclusion in the manifesto, which is ensuring protection of national as-well-as international boundaries, development of connectivity in the state and to upgrade the National Sports Academy at par with the academy at Patiala.

    The inspection reports of the controversial Indo-Myanmar fencing border by the delegation will be incorporated in the draft memorandum which is in the process of preparation and the state will urge the central government for inclusion before the Parliamentary election to the All India Congress Committee.
