IMPHAL, November 18: Students of Heirok Higher Secondary School today set a two day deadline for the locals of the school to suspend their boycott imposed against the principal of the school.

Addressing media persons at the Manipur Press Club, students of the school threatened of indefinite boycotting the school unless the locals backtrack their boycott of the principal.

Addressing the media persons, a student Wairokpam Hemand said that around 10 am today, volunteers of some local clubs had come to the school and locked the principal’s office much to the dismay of the students whose classes were affected by the said incident.

Further lamenting the incident as a discouraging act to the students, he appealed to the locals against carrying out any act which could have a negative impact on the morals of the students.
