IMPHAL, December 19: The Winter Session of the 10th Manipur Legislative Assembly which commenced from December 18 was adjourned sine-die this afternoon by the Speaker Th Lokeshwar Singh.
The first session of the House on the first day of the session saw two businesses- Obituary References and Presentation of Business Advisory Committee, BAC report.
During the first business of the first day, the House moved an Obituary Reference motion on the demise of former MLAs LS John, W Komol and P Munal.
Recalling the contribution of the three former Members of the Legislative Assembly, the House had also observed a two minute silence yesterday.
Later on, the leader of the House Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh had also tabled the BAC report, which was unanimously passed by the House; following which the House was adjourned for the day.
The second day of the Session, began today at 11 am with speaker Th Lokeshwar Singh presiding over.
The first business of the House today was the Question and Answer, featuring 12 Star and four Un-star questions.
Later, Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh tabled a Report, dy CM Gaikhangam tabled another five Report while Law and Legislative Affairs minister Thoudam Devendra Singh tabled seven Reports.
Opposition MLAs I Ibomcha Singh of NCP and Th Shyamkumar Singh of AITC also raised separate Calling Attention Motion, whereas, Opposition leader Dr I Ibohalbi Singh of AITC and MLA RK Imo Singh of MSCP raised Discussion on the Matter of Public Interest motions.
