Annual Day of LCA celebrated: Victor Nunghlung appeals students

CHANDEL, December 3: Lifeway Christian Academy, Panchai celebrated the school’s 11th Annual Day today at its premises with large numbers of parents and invitees attending the function marked by a variety of items performed by the students.

MLA of 41 AC Chandel St Nunghlung Victor and Executive Secretary of Anal Naga Baptist Association (ANBA) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and Administrator of the function attended by distinguished guest and invitees comprising of Pastors, Chiefs, Missionaries and representatives from several frontal organizations of the hill district.

Pleased by the joyful performance of the students and good numbers of parents and invitees attending the function, Chief Guest of the day St Nunghlung Victor, MLA, while speaking on the occasion appreciated initiative of the school for completing all other extra- curricular activities before the final examinations saying that the initiative has made the students happy and will enabled them to write exams well.

The MLA also recalled of the days when facilities of learning was very rare when he compared to the present facilities, the students now have. Making them to realize of this, the MLA urged the students to make use of all facilities available to them in both private and Govt schools in the district Chandel.

While saying that Education is the same everywhere, the MLA encouraged the students to work hard with determination and requested both teachers and students to keep in constant touch with respect to progress of the students.

Rev Kl Tangthu, Executive Secretary of ANBA, while speaking on the occasion as the administrator emphasized ‘Christian’s faith’ which according to him is ‘the most important’ when it comes to ‘giving education’ and ‘training’ to children.

The ANBA Executive Secretary said that as a Christian, we must trained a child in the way he or she should go ‘but’ the Church worker debated, ‘we must dedicate the child to God so that God shows the way’.

The Reverend also blessed the school and the students who will be appearing the HSLC examination 2014 as a part of the programme.

Principal of the school, Ts Ngamwar Anal during his speechs honored the dignitaries and distinguished guest with a gift.  On behalf of the parents, Sr Thungam Anal spoke of suggestions and appreciation to the school authority during the programme which was entertained by varieties of item performed by each class.
