BISHNUPUR, Dec 29: The suspended supply of pipe water since December 26 last by the pump house located at Moirang Sendra Leirak has resumed from today following an agreement.
The agreement was arrived during a meeting held at the office of the Officer in Charge of Moirang police station. The meeting was attended by PHED employees, the chairperson of the Moirang Municipal Council, members of local club in presence of the OC of the police station.
During the meeting, Soubam Debajit, son of late S Shyamkesho who had beaten M Alex, the chowkidar of PHED sub-division, No 1 at his quarter following which the supply of the pipe had been suspended since December 26, had made an apology and assured before the gathering that he will not interfere in the life and work of Alex.
