IMPHAL, December 18: “Unbreakable,” the autobiography of boxer MC Mary Kom was launched in Imphal at a function at Imphal College today. Mary stated that after reading the book the people will get inspiration, specially the youths.
The launch was organized by Infinity Optimal Solution (IOS), a sports and entertainment publication based in New Delhi and sponsored by RK Global and Monnet Steel.
The book has stories from her childhood till the present, narrated how her family and husband supported her endeavour and detailed the events surrounding her accomplishment at London Olympic, 2012. The book was first released in Mumbai and latter at Bangalore, Delhi and Guwahati before the Imphal event.
At the sideline, Mary asserted that she will return to the boxing ring and that will only be possible because of the support from the people. She stated that the publication of the book is a dream come true for her and she will make her contribution in shaping the dream of young persons.
