Officers reshuffled

IMPHAL, December 31: The state government has ordered the reallocation of works/transfer and posting of IAS/MCS officers with immediate effect.

According to official sources, O Nabakishore Singh, IAS, Chief Election Officer and Principal Secretary (Commerce and Industries, Sericulture) has been relieved of his post as Principal Secretary of Commerce and Industry, and Sericulture and the charges have been allocated to Lungmuana, IAS, Commissioner (veterinary and Animal Husbandry).

Joseph Pauline Kamson, MCS, ADC Tamenglong has been allocated with additional charge of PD&DRDA Tamenglong and N Praveen Singh, MCS, Joint CEO, Manipur who is also the deputy secretary (Election)& PD/DRDA, Tamenglong has been relieved of his charge as deputy secretary PD/DRDA, Tamenglong.

It may be recalled that in view of the upcoming general election to Lok Sabha, 2014 and preparatory activities related to it, the Election Commission of India recently instructed all the Chief Secretaries to the Government of all States and Union Territories to relieved all the CEO and Additional CEO or Joint CEO of their additional charges to enable them to fully concentrate his responsibilities and statutory duties of the election office.
