IMPHAL, December 26: The Minority Affairs Department of Revolutionary People’s Front organized a solemn Christmas function at its office on Christmas with Secretary of the department Jackie as the functional president. The attendance comprised of representation from both hills and valley. Mentioning this, a press release issued by the group stated that the gathering also prayed for heavenly blessing in strengthening the bond between different indigenous communities of Manipur who have been living together since time memorial. The secretary spoke about the essence of celebrating Christmas and prayed for prosperity, affection and unity among the people of Manipur who have been living together with happiness in adherence to the teachings of Jesus Christ for peaceful co-existence in the world.
