IMPHAL, December 29: Singh Publicity and Singh Portrait Gallery, New Checkon Imphal East district will organise a state level thematic painting competition for school students during three day Paphal Art Exhibition 2014 to be held at Iboyaima Sumang Lila Sanglen, Konung Lampak.
According a press release, the theme of the painting competition will be on the landscape of Imphal city since 1996, it said and added there will be two categories of the competition, one for the students of class VI to VIII and another for the students of class IX and X respectively. It is further said that the position holders of the painting competition will be awarded cash along with certificate.
During the three day Paphal art exhibition, altogether 364 Paphals, 200 portraits and Manipur historical photographs will be exhibited, it said and further added that interested students and their parents can collect application form from Singh Publicity, New Checkon. The last date for the submission of application form is January 7, 2014 at 4 pm, it said.
