State suffered enough under present govt, says Th Chaoba

CCPUR, December 20: The Bharatya Janata Party (BJP) Ccpur district and Mandal Leaders’ Meet 2013 was held today at Tuibuang.

The meeting was attended by Manipur Pradesh BJP president, Th Chaoba as the chief guest, accompanied by general secretary (adm/pub and propaganda) of the party, Ashwini Kumar.

Prior to the meeting in the district, the state president of the party had also conducted an interaction session with the press/media persons of the district.

He had said that the people of the state have suffered enough under the present government.

People suffer for even the provision of basic facilities and essential commodities like water, electricity etc, he said.

On being asked to comment on the perception of many especially in Churachandpur that the party is non-secular, by this IFP correspondent, Chaoba affirmed that the party is the most secular party as proved by the election of APJ Abdul Kalam as the Indian President.

He further cited several other regional leaders of the party who are from different religion; stating that the party is the most secular party.

With no proper road and facilities for health care provided, the people have suffered though there are several centrally sponsored funds which are misappropriated by the present government.

He further expressed his beleive that the BJP will form the next govt and improve the conditions of the people.
