JIRIBAM, December 9: Students bodies of Jiribam namely AMSU-District Committee, MSF special Branch, DESAM Local Council and KSA, Jiribam organized a get together meeting with the newly posted teachers of Jiribam at the conference hall of the All Manipur Students’ Union, Jiribam.
The meeting was attended by the 13 newly posted teachers of Jiribam out of the total 31 teachers.
Leaders of the students bodies’ warmly received the teachers and appreciated them for attendin the meeting of the student bodies.
Meanwhile, the students bodies leaders appealed to the concerned authorities of Department of Education (S) to send the remaining teachers to their respective postings within December 13, so that the new session start smoothly.
In case the remaining teachers fail to reach their new postings within the set deadline, the students bodies urged the Zonal Education Officer of Jiribam to take necessary action against the careless teachers, unless the students bodies will resume their agitation.
