IMPHAL, Dec 27: Showing solidarity and support to the ongoing agitation launched jointly by the All Manipur Municipalities Employees’ and Workers’ Union and Imphal Municipal Employees Union in demand for the implementation of the 6th pay commission for the municipality employees, the Thoubal Municipal Council Employees Union also staged a sit in protest at the office of the council.
The union’s president Y Kullachandra said the union will support all steps taken up by the All Manipur Municipalities Employees’ and Workers’ Union.
