AAP leaders in state on 3-day visit

IMPHAL, January 13: Habung Payengi,  national executive member who is also in charge of the Aam Admi Party in the Northeastern states and other party members arrived in the state on a three-day visit, today.

The AAP national members were received by the state coordinator of the party, Thoudam Manihar on their arrival at the Imphal Airport.

Soon after, the team including the state leaders went to Sapormeina where a branch office of the party was inaugurated today.

The first political conference of the party in the state will be held at the Manipur Press Club tomorrow at 11 am.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that the main purpose of the national members in the state pertains to the process of selection of candidates for the party in the upcoming Lok Sabha election, which has been scheduled for April this year.

It may be mention that an office of the AAP Churachandpur district located at Vengmal New lamka Peace Avenue was also inaugurated yesterday.
