MU students ban VC

IMPHAL, January 30:  Convenor of MUSU Revival Demand Committee, Th Suresh, expressed surprise that though the MUSU was abolished in April, 2009 no intimation had been sent to chancellor in this regard. A meeting of committee was held on January 27, 2014 where it was agreed that the present VC, register and university staff are also a responsible party for not mentioning the current status of MUSU to the chancellor, he stated. The meeting took a decision to ban the vice-chancellor from participation in any event taking place inside the university and warned that he should take responsibility for any adverse eventuality if he do not heed the announcement. The committee also resolved to cease the functioning of the Administrative Block of the university.
