IMPHAL, January 4: The Governor of Manipur, VK Duggal, summoned the Director General of Police Manipur, Sahid Ahmed, this afternoon around 3 pm at the Raj Bhawan.
Sources disclosed that the DGP was called upon to debrief on the prevailing Law and Order situation of the state and subsequent measures taken up by the state security forces.
This is the first official rendezvous of VK Duggal, with the state official, since he was sworn-in as the Governor of Manipur on December 31, 2013.
