IMPHAL, Jan 27: The Revolutionary People’s Front has claimed that a team of the outfit’s 252 M/Bn of the PLA had attacked a patrolling party of the A Coy 21 Assam Rifles in between IC Village and Khungmulel Village near Sajik Tampak around 9 am of January 26.
A statement of the proscribed outfit has said that the attack on the patrolling troop was carried out using explosives and guns.
It further said that the attack inflicted injuries to several AR personnel including a major rank officer.
