KSO announce code of conduct for students

LAMKA, February 4: The Kuki Students Organisation, KSO CCpur has today issued a code of conducts for school students.

Announcing the code of conduct during a press conference at the organisation’s Tuibuang, Lamka office, spokesperson Mimin said the code of conduct include 14 do’s and 23 don’ts for the welfare of the students.

He said with CCpur being one of the top district of the state in terms of education and in producing high ranking officers, the student body felt compelled to announce the code of conduct so that the youth of the district do not stray from the right path.

Today’s youth are influence by Korean film/culture which has encouraged them towards imitating their dress and hairstyle which could bring bad repercussions, he observed.

The code of conduct which will be implemented from this academic year include that until the students finish class XII, they cannot compromise on their identity and get involved in strikes without the permission of the respective school authorities; and girls cannot wear short skirts which are above their ankle.

He further said that even if the students feel the need to drive vehicles, they have to first take permission from their school authorities as rash driving endangers themselves and others.

The code of conduct will also prohibit the students from going to places like alcohol vendors, and from consuming gutkha products such as talab, pan, khaini, smoking cigarettes, etc, he asserted.

While saying that the students should strive for educational excellence, he said the student body will enforce the code of conduct from today.
