IMPHAL, February 9: Four over ground workers of the proscribed outfit PREPAK were arrested by a team of the Imphal east police commandos along with two 9mm pistols and five live rounds, one .38 pistol with nine live rounds and three mobile phones from their respective residences, yesterday
According to the reliable source the four arrested are Ningombam Santa, 44, son of Kumar of Singjamei Wangma Pebiya Pandit leikai; Pukhrambam Mangi, 44, son of (L) Tomba of Leimapokpam Mayai Leikai; Khaidem Shyamkumar, 39, son of Kh Pamlei of Wabagai Yangbi and Chingtham Bijoy, 60, son of (L) Nandakeshor of Lamphel Khonou.
One 9mm pistol, one .38 pistol with five live rounds were recovered from the possession of Chongtham Bijoy, informed the source.
The pistols were handed to him by one NK Singh from Yairipok area, sources said.
