IMPHAL February 7: Imphal East District Police commandos arrested a cadre of PREPAK along with a 9mm pistol and a magazine containing three live rounds.
The police commandos team led by the P Achouba, Officer In Charge, of the Imphal East district police commando conducted a search operation at Lilong Chajing area and arrested one cadre of PREPAK from his residence, a source said.
According to the source, the arrested PREPAK cadre is identified as Haorungbam Rishijen alias Lakpati alias Khagemba Meetei 39 S/O Ibomcha of Lilong Chajing Chingkhong Leikai, a trained cadre of PREPAK army number 30230 of 30th Batch.
It is reported that the arrested person was work ing under the command of one self-styled captain R K.
