IMPHAL, Mar 11: As a part of the mega-mock exercise, sponsored by national disaster management authority, a rally was organised on Tuesday by disaster management institute and the state government’s relief and disaster management department.
The rally was flagged-off from the Old Secretariat in Babupara and concluded at the NCC office in Thangmeiband. 150 volunteers of the civil defence took part in the rally.
The mega-mock exercise will be held on March 13 in the two districts of Imphal-East and Thoubal. The locations for such exercises are the DC office, CD convention, PCTC and Kushum Oil Pump in Imphal East and the Mini-Secretariat, Wangjing Bazaar, District Hospital and Thoubal Super Market.
