BISHNUPUR, Mar 13: State bomb experts today triggered off an Improvised Explosive Device this morning around 8.30, recovered along the Keirenphabi Maning Leikai, Moirang Kumbi Road under Moirang police station by Moirang police personnel.
The bomb was recovered yesterday around 8.30pm and is confirmed to be a remote controlled bomb. Police stood guard barring the general public from entering the area.
The IED weighed 3.5kg and was 10 inches long.
