IMPHAL, March 5: “Leipaklei” the national award winning Manipuri feature film was felicitated and screened today in the ongoing Indian Panorama film festival Shillong, Meghalaya (3rd-6th March) at the Soso Tham auditorium at the heart of the city. The festival is jointly organised by directorate of film festivals, Government of India and Directorate of Information and public relations, Government of Meghalaya. The film participated at Jeonju International film festival, South Korea, 2013 Kolkata International festival 2012 and was the opening film at Guawahati International film international festival 2013. The film is a screen adaption of the play of the same name by the playwirht Arambam Samarendar. it was adapted by Arambam ongbi Memchoubi Devi and Directed by Aribam Syam Sharma, (a DDK Imphal Production).
