IMPHAL, April 3: The manifesto of the inner parliamentary seat of the BJP will be released on April 5. This was stated by Manipur Pradesh BJP president Thounaojam Chaoba on Thursday in a press conference at the party’s Nityapatchuthek office.

Five persons were approved by the BJP president to join the party on Thursday morning strengthening it even more before the LS polls. Prominent among them are Retd ADGP Yumleppam Samanada and former minister and ex- chairperson of LDA from Moirang assembly constituency, Md Heisnamudin.

The BJP president refuted the allegations of the MPCC president Gaikhangam that “two manifestos mean separating the hills and valley”. He said that we have 553 constituencies in India and if all the issues are included in the central manifesto it will be quite voluminous. Separate manifestos for every constituency will be considered seriously when the time comes.

He said that the INC manifesto was released at the centre with 2/3 pages for all of India which means the party has not mentioned their mistakes of the past. Congress is afraid to offer false promises again to people because people knew the reality.
