IMPHAL, Apr 2: Reacting against the reported participation of party MLA Dr I Ibohalbi at the flag hoisting ceremony for JD (U) candidate for the Outer seat Lien Gangte, the Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress Committee has said that the party has no alliance with any other party for the upcoming election.
A press release of the party signed by its general secy M Neli has said that “Trinamool Congress does not make alliance with any party.”
“Dr Ibohalbi’s participation in the Flag Hoisting ceremony of Lien Gangte, JD(U) candidate for the election of the Outer Parliamentary constituency to be held on April 9 at Mission Lane Sanjenthong Imphal, is an act of anti-party activities.”
“A strong letter to take up immediate action against Dr Ibohalbi was sent yesterday to the AITC, New Delhi,” it said.
