IMPHAL, April 4: The valedictory function of the Diamond Jubilee celebration of the Jawaharlal Nehru Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal (JNMDA) was held on Friday at its auditorium.
Attending the function as the chief guest, Governor VK Duggal said that the staff and organisers are well organised during the four days.
“The celebrations of the Diamond Jubilee were well organised. The Manipuri dance which is classical in nature and the tribal dance also need to be made more popular through more efforts and hard work. Sangeet Natak Academi needs to prepare in advance when organising any functions, he added.
