IMPHAL, April 5: Imphal East district police today conducted a cordon and search operation at Youbung village under Lamlai police station under the supervision of Singhajit additional SP (operation) Imphal East lead by Achouba Officer in charge Imphal east commando from morning 5.30 am till 8 am.
Six persons were detained and handed over to the Lamlai police for their failure to provide proper verification.
The entire male population inside the age group of 15 to 50 years were called out from their respective residences and verified at Youbung ground.
