APDS Senapati demands legal action

IMPHAL, May 12: The Association of Persons with Disabilities, Senapati (APDS) has urged the chief executive officers of Autonomous District Council, Sadar Hills and Senapati district to take legal action against two individuals serving as assistant teachers in their respective jurisdiction.

A memorandum to the CEO, Sadar Hills signed by the chairman of the APDS said that Mangkholun Khongsai now serving as asst teacher, ADC, Sadar Hills has tarnished the image and reputation of the All Tribal Disables’ Union, Manipur (ATDUM) and Association of Persons with Disabilities, Senapati (APDS) by claiming himself to be the president of All Disables Union, Sardar Hills (ADUSH).

It further claimed that the All Disables Union, Sardar Hills (ADUSH) is a fake association and that the said asst teacher has issued many unfounded allegations against the All Tribal Disables’ Union, Manipur (ATDUM) and Association of Persons with Disabilities, Senapati (APDS) for his personal interest in a motive to tarnishing the image and reputation of the said Association and Union.

The APDS has also submitted a similar request to the CEO, Senapati to initiate action against S Hingba Aloysius now serving as Asst. Teacher, Autonomous District Council, Senapati on similar charges.
