IMPHAL, May 18: The Asom Samaj Manipur organised the Rongali Bihu Celebration at Devlaya (Kalibari), Thangal Bazar today.
The celebration was attended by former chair person of Manipur State Women Commission Dr Ch Jamini Devi Diganta Kumar Bora president Asom Samaj and Irom Gambhir Singh professor Manipur University as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
As a part of the celebration a Bihu dance troop from Nagaon, Assam performed various Bihu dances and other folk and modern songs of Assam.
