Forest dept to conduct CEE for BSe admission

IMPHAL, May 27: A Competitive Entrance Exam (CEE) will be conducted by the Forest Department on June 8 for selection and nomination of six candidates for admission to 4 years Degree course of B.Sc (Forestry), one seat in Dr. Y S Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan, Himachal Pradesh and five (1-ST, 1-OBC and 3-UR) seats in College of Horticulture and Forestry, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh.

The candidate applying for admission for the one seat in Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry should have passed 10+2 examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics/ Agriculture from a recognised University/ Board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidate) and candidate applying for admission to five seats in College of Horticulture and Forestry, Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics from a recognised University/Board with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for General and OBC category and 40% for ST/SC/Physically handicapped/in service categories. Candidates must have attained 17 years as on December 12, 2014.

The application form can be availed from May 28 to June 5 from the office of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest during Office hours at a cost of Rs.200/- and the examination fee for all categories is Rs.300/-. The form must be submitted on or before June 5 upto 4 pm and the admit card will be issued on June 6 and 7 on production of Identity card with June 8 as date of examination and the result will be published on June 9 said the principal chief conservator of Forests.
