IMPHAL, May 27: Internationally acclaimed actress Seema Biswas today inaugurated a ten-day film acting workshop at the Manipur Film Development Corporation, Imphal.
The workshop organised jointly by the Manipur Film Development Corporation Ltd and Cine Artists and Technicians Association, Manipur will be participated by around 25 budding artists of the State.
The renowned actress will be conducting the ten day workshop.
It is a privileged to come and guide the aspiring artists of Manipur which is so near to home, Seema Biswas said and added she is actually from neighbouring State Assam.
Manipur is popular for its rich culture, tradition and sports, she said before expressing her wish to have been born in the state.
Seema Biswas continued she has always looked up to Manipur and its people as the State has always represented the North Eastern region efficiently to the rest of the world.
Today’s inaugural function was also attended by MFDC managing director, Dr Sobita Devi and chairperson K Gunileima.
During the function K Sobita Devi said it was always a dream of the MFDC to organise such a workshop.
She asked the aspiring artists to attend the workshop with keen interest and enthusiasm and to imbibe the ethics, culture, discipline, ideas from the internationally acclaimed actress Seema Biswas.
