IMPHAL, June 8: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Tamenglong District, Manipur has defended the status of Professor Gangmumei Kamei by stating that he is a dedicated and patriotic political leader with strong social commitment for the welfare of the people of Manipur.
The party has stated in a press release that Prof Gangmumei Kamei has not defected from any party while in power, and further stated that it was his right to resign when he found differences with the party leaders, said the general secretary of Tamenglong District Committee, BJP Manipur Pradesh.
