IMPHAL, May 31: The Congress Legislature Party meeting on Saturday condemned the Singjamei Bomb blast that killed two persons and injured more than ten people.
The CLP meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister O Ibobi from 4 to 8 pm at his Secretariat.
One of the legislatures who attend the meeting told the media that the meeting unanimously show their gratitude to the people of Manipur for voting for the Congress candidate both in the inner and outer constituency at Lok Sabha elections.
The meeting also decided to bring more transparency in governance and the state government is facing a stiff challenge now that the BJP has come to power at the centre.
It is also further reported that Saturday’s meeting also discussed the Food Security Act which is soon going to be implemented in the state.
The meeting also reviewed the performance of the departments. It also welcomed the newly inducted MLAs who joined the Congress from MSCP.
