IMPHAL, June 10: A meeting was held at the WAL United Youths’ Club, Wangkhei Angom Leikai on June 10 at 6 pm which resolved to organise awareness campaigns against liquor consumption.
According to a press release of the club, the meeting also decided to check the selling of liquor within the area between Konung Mamang Thangal General Statue and Andro Parking with the help of civil societies and the SP Imphal East.
It also resolved to evict the illegal workshops set up from between Imphal Yairipok Road Thangal Statue and Andro Parking,with the help of DC Imphal East and SP Imphal East.
