Kuki Khanglai Lompi observes Silver jubilee

IMPHAL, June 25: The Kuki Khanglai Lompi (KKL) observed its 25th year of existence and silver jubilee at Songgel Village Community Hall, Lamka today at 11 am. The function was attended as chief guest by Saikot a/c MLA TN Haokip and, while chairman ADC Ccpur, Langkhanpau Guite attended as functional president and the lone female MDC of Tamenglong Hatling as the guest of honour. Speaking at the function, Langkhanpau Guite said he is an admirer of the KKL. He said he is ready to offer any kind of help to KKL in his capacity. TN Haokip said should consider the silver jubilee celebration as not its end but as a new beginning and thrive to continue the good work. KKL has six blocks and a zone in Jiribam. He said the KKL was a philanthropic organisation based on the Young Mizo Association, Mizoram. The chief guest also appreciated the performances of the different cultural troops during the day’s program Today’s program was attended by representatives from different community leaders of Lamka like the Zomi Youth Organisation, Meitei Society and YMA.
