Imphal, June 25: A scrap collector identified as Md Maniruddin, 30 of West Bengal and at present staying at a rented room at Khoisnam Leikai Uripok succumbed to bullet injuries this late afternoon around 9.30pm at the RIMS.
Md Maniruddin was shot earlier around 8.45 pm in front of the gate of his rented room. He recieved two bullet injuries on his back side and was rushed to the hospital.
The body has been deposited at the RIMS morgue and a case taken up in this regard.
