IMPHAL, June 20: The 24 hour Tidim road bandh imposed by the Keishampat to Malom, Affected Pattadars Joint Action Committee along the Tidim road concluded peacefully with no major incident.
In the wee hour suspected bandh supporters reportedly damaged an auto rickshaw at coming towards Imphal near the Keishampat and bandh supporters were seen blocking the roads piling up stones and logs since the early hour.
However, essential services like medical, schools, religious etc were exempted from the purview of the bandh.
While talking to this report JAC secretary, warned that if the government fails to give positive response it would resort to intense form of agitations until their demands are fulfilled.
