IMPHAL, July 18: Social scientist Dr Dhanabir Laishram has said teachers should teach students with a lot of heart and shouldn’t stop with mere lecturing.
He said this while speaking as a guest of honour at the observance of the First Discipline Day in Little Rose Senior Secondary School, Canchipur toady.
Observing that there is a lack of the much vaunted quality education in the state because uninterested students are being taught by unmotivated teachers, he advised the students to have a firm belief in themselves as it was the best teacher which is within ourselves.
Veteran politician O Joy Singh was the chief guest while Little Rose School principal Amusana Zoute presided over the function.
