Four months long Youth and Adolescent Camp concludes

IMPHAL, August 28: Four months long ‘Imphal East – I, Block Youth and Adolescent Camp’ has been successfully organised from April 30 to August 28 at Sagolband Bazar, Imphal East, by Auxiliary Service for Human Affairs (ASHA), Sagolmang Bazar, under the sponsorship of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, New Delhi, said a press release by ASHA.

According to the press release, the camp was organised with the sole objective of developing personality, leadership qualities, nation growth, skills, enhance moral values, peace and communal harmony of the younger generation.

It said, a valedictory function was organised on the closing day of the camp and W Kumar Singh, Ex-member, Imphal East Zilla Parishad was the chief guest, S Manihar Mangang, President, ASHA was the president and S Nando Singh, MSW, Consultant, NS Associate, Imphal was the guest of honour.

The four months long camp was participated by 50 selected youths and students of the age group of 13 years to 35 years from different villages of Imphal East – I, C.D. Block and five regular teachers and noted resource persons taught the campers elaborating their past and future to be faced to become a perfect citizens, followed by cleanliness services at different specified public areas and interaction session with teachers, students and staffs during field visit in different institutes, NGOs and offices of Manipur, said the press release.
