JIRIBAM, August 10 (JNN): The Jiri College Employees’ Association discussed its demand for degree level pay scale, during a meeting convened at the staff room of the college.

The association observed that of the 12 aided colleges in the State, the Jiri College is the only college whose employees are getting pre-revised higher secondary pay scales.

During the meeting the employees of the college expressed dissatisfaction for their outdated pay scale.

Further during the meeting, they decided that as the concerned authorities have failed to react positively to their demand for increase in pay scale, they will initiate agitations by wearing black badges from August 11, 2014.
