IMPHAL, August 25: The All Manipur SSA Upper Primary Teachers’ Association has appealed to the Manipur Government to disburse the due salary of all upper primary teachers under SSA.
According to a release of the Association, the salary of the teachers has been due since March 2014. Although Access Authorisation for the payment of salary was granted on May 28 and again on July 8, however due to the unreleased of Zone-wise fund allocation by the concerned Department, the salary for these teachers is still being withheld, it said.
