IMPHAL, Aug 24: Water levels of all major rivers flowing in the State have receded below their danger levels with rainfall in catchment area decreasing over the last 24 hours.
As per information provided by the flood control room, rainfail received at Raj Bhawan was 4mm, Kangpokpi 16 mm, Lamphel 4.50 mm, Litan 12mm and Saikul 14mm.
Water levels recorded of all the major rivers till 6pm this evening are Minuthong 784.375, Nambul 782.525, Iril 782.900, Nambol 773.450, Thoubal 777.9000 and Lilong 780.000.
