IMPHAL, August 28: The Manipur Chamber of Foreign Trade and Industry (MACFI) in association with Manipur Update Media Group is organising a two day workshop entitled ‘Manipur in India’s Look East Policy’ on August 30 and August 31 at Classic Hotel, North AOC, Imphal, said a press release by MACFI.
According to the press release, the workshop will answer the common questions and challenges to the Foreign Trade, trade practices and approaches thorough ASEAN Highway-1 via Moreh, Manipur.
The workshop will be conducted by seven speakers from Manipur University, Meitei Council-Moreh, Directorate General of Foreign Trade, Customs Department, Export Import Bank of India, Department of Commerce and Industries and Indian Chamber of Commerce, said the press release.
Interested individuals and entrepreneurs are requested to contact Project Director, MACFI, Room No. 209, Hotel Excellency, Keishampat Leimajam Leikai, Imphal, to participate and exchange opinions and expertise regarding Manipur’s role and responsibilities in India’s Look East Policy, stated MACFI in the press release.
