IMPHAL, Sept 8:The BJP state president Thounaojam Chaoba Singh had written a letter dated August 4, 2014 to Union minister (Agri. & Coop.), Radhamohan for staying the transfer of Somorendro.
However, the vice –president of the state BJP, had communicated to the same Minister in a letterhead, D.O. No. 3/ Misc/V-P/BJP/PM/2014 stating that “the President, BJP, Manipur Pradesh is apprehended to have written a letter, inadvertently, to you on 4th Aug.,2014 for staying the aforesaid order of transfer and posting of Dr. Kh. Somorendro Singh.”
He had intimated that the matter has been settled with Th Chaoba and to implement the posting of Somorendro to Pune. IFP meeting with Somorendro also agreed that it is true that he approached the BJP president to write the stay order as Th Chaoba was a founder member of ICM, Lamphelpat.
