IMPHAL, September 7: In what appears to be a threat regarding monetary demand, a Chinese made hand grenade was found at the residence of Block Development Officer, Imphal East district today.
The grenade was found aroung 6.40am from the residential gate of BDO Khundongbam Chaoba, 57, son of (L) Yaima of Sangaiprou Godown road.
Reports said that the bomb was found wrapped in a red polythene bag.
A case has been registered at the Lamphel police station Imphal West district.
