IMPHAL, Sept 19: A man was killed in a road mishap yesterday afternoon around 2pm at Anal Khullen, Chandel district.
The victim has been identified as Huirongbam Tompok, 35, son of H Nimai of Komlakhong Ireima Lairenbi Leirak. He reportedly fell from firewood laden truck (shaktiman) when it encountered mechanical failure.
His body has been handed over to the family after post mortem.
