IMPHAL, Sept 30: The High Court Bar Association of Manipur today organised a social service cum tree plantation programme in the complex of the High Court.
The association planted tree saplings and organised a cleaning programme under the theme `Mother Earth`™ in the High Court Complex at Chingmeirong today.
Today`™s programme was also attended by advocate general Th Ibohal Singh, addl advocate general Kh Nobin Singh and Justice N Koteshwar Singh alongside other bar members.
Bar association secretary, S Jhaljit Singh said the programme was conducted so as to coincide with the court holiday today.
The advocates over and above of rendering legal services to the people have also a social responsibility to keep the environment clean, he observed.
