Ccpur BJP unit appeals to ‘strayed’ members to rejoin

LAMKA, October 28: The Bharatiya Janata Party, Churachandpur District vice president, L R Zote, in a statement has appealed to its members who had strayed away from the party to rejoin.

It said with the appointment of a new district president of the party, with the opening of six mandals, along with the Youth, Mahila, Kishan and ST Morchas; the party’s functioning has been improving in the district.

The release further said that the misunderstanding between different functionaries of the party in the district has been solved under the leadership of the district president, J Haokip and the State president, Th Chaoba.

It is time now for all the members to work hand in hand to script a new history of the party, it added.

It further expressed its gratitude to its party president, Th Chaoba, for sacrificing his discretionary power by empowering the 16 State party executive members, chaired by Prof Gangmumei, in the presence of the party’s Churachandpur in-charge, Salam Ibohal, while selecting J Haokip alias Jamliankhup as the district president.

It continued that the BJP is looking forward to emulate the success story of the party across the country. The party is therefore ready to settle any problem, for which unity of all the members is needed, in the interest of the party and people in general, added the release.
