IMPHAL, October 1: In a clear case of hit and run, a cyclist was killed after being knocked down by a four wheeler at Ghari Crossing under Lamphel Police yesterday.
The deceased has been identified as Heikrujam Thoiba Singh, 46, son of (L) H Jugeshore of Ningthoukhong Kha Mamang Leikai ward number 7.
Reports said that the deceased was found injured and evacuated to RIMS by passersby around 7.30pm.
From there he was shifted to Raj Medicity but succumbed to his injuries around 11pm last night.
A case has been registered by the police in this connection.
The identity of the four-wheeler is yet to be identified.
